Jane Shekman, MHA, FACHE

Founder & CEO

Jane Shekman is a seasoned healthcare executive and an accomplished entrepreneur with over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Driven by a deep commitment to compassionate, high-quality care, Jane founded Silver Lining to create a family-centered approach to behavioral, mental health, and home healthcare services. Her vision is to support families in achieving emotional and physical well-being, allowing them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives—all within the comfort of their homes.

Before establishing Silver Lining, Jane built a successful career in the home health and home care sectors, where she prioritized genuine caring as a core value. She recognizes that delivering exceptional care begins with bringing together talented professionals and fostering strong, collaborative teams. Her focus on building great teams is integral to providing consistent, compassionate service that truly makes a difference.

Jane holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Outside of work, she loves hitting the golf course and playing pickleball, exploring new destinations around the world, and creating special memories with her family, friends, and her beloved family dog, Roger.
