Janna Bakbergenova is a dedicated social worker with a deep passion for supporting adults and adolescents through life’s challenges. She holds a degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago, where she also pursued a sub-specialization in migration studies to better serve immigrant populations. In addition to her work with immigrants, Janna provides therapy for non-immigrant individuals, offering guidance and support tailored to their unique experiences.
With extensive experience in addressing a wide range of psychological and social concerns, Janna utilizes evidence-based therapeutic and coaching techniques to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and personal growth. She is committed to fostering a warm, supportive, and non-punitive environment, where trust and rapport are prioritized, ensuring a safe space for healing and self-discovery.
Drawing on her Central Asian background, Janna is uniquely equipped to provide culturally sensitive therapy for Russian-speaking clients, helping them navigate issues related to identity, adjustment, and emotional well-being. Through a client-centered approach, she empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal development.
